Client Shoutout: Providence’s Festival of Trees
We love the opportunity to partner with our clients in ways that go beyond business, especially when it benefits our community! That’s why we were thrilled to work with Providence Health & Services and the Junior League of Portland on their Festival of Trees event.
Since its inception in 1983, the Festival of Trees has raised over $16 million to provide quality health care to underserved communities throughout the Pacific Northwest, and this year is projected to be another tremendous success with over 20,000 attendees.
If you’re in the Portland area, stop by our display at the Oregon Convention Center! The event is open to the public on Saturday, December 1st from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Bring the whole family out for some festive fun! There will be scavenger hunts among the trees, pajama movie nights, face painting, cookie decorating, stunning holiday displays, Santa photo-ops and even a Teddy Bear Hospital! Get your tickets here before they sell out!

Thanksgiving might be over BUT...
Here’s why we all need to show gratitude regardless of the season: Saying “thank you” more often has amazing benefits both for you and the people around you. It’s about more than just those warm fuzzies you get from being nice though. Gratitude is a powerful force that can improve your professional and personal life.
At work, you can single-handedly boost your company culture and productivity by showing your employees or coworkers more appreciation. In fact, a recent study found that 83 percent of people are more motivated by recognition for their contributions than by any monetary rewards or gifts. Just goes to show that money can’t buy everything.
Gratitude isn’t just important for the recipients though. It has major benefits for the person giving thanks, as well. For starters, it’s a natural antidepressant because it activates higher dopamine and serotonin production. Research also shows that finding more reasons to be thankful reduces stress, boosts your immune system and can even help you live longer! Helloooo fountain of youth.
That’s why you should never miss an opportunity to say thank you to the people in your life. The pursuit of happiness is paved with gratitude.
So thank YOU for reading and Happy Holidays!
